WHAT IS WISDOM?

                                                         WHAT IS WISDOM?

Psalm 111:10 (King James Version)

10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

What does this mean, why fear the Lord, why understand His commandments, why do His commandments?(MINE)...WHY, WHY, WHY? :)

Because God is our Judge, we brake Gods Laws, Sin against God, the wages of Sin is DEATH. God is the Supreme ALL knowing, All Wise, ALL knowledge, ALL Righteousness, ALL Truth, Full of Light, Grace and Mercy...SALVATION! Are you following this line of thought here? Remember watching the TEN Commandments...Charlton Heston...Moses! Remember what happened to the tribes of Israel after they were saved...taken out of bondage from Egypt?...REMEMBER?

Fear God Alone (10:28)
Because God is judge in the end, we should not fear even persecutors who threaten death (vv. 26, 28). Mortals can destroy only one's body, while God can resurrect the body for damnation and destroy the whole person (with eternal torture; compare 3:12; 25:46). The choice is not between courage and fear but has to do with whom we will fear more. Jesus may here recall the Jewish martyr tradition, which exhorted its followers not to fear those who think they can kill, because eternal suffering awaits the soul that disobeys God's command.

Matthew 10:24-33 (King James Version)

24The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
26Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
27What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
GRACE, MERCY, LOVE AND JOY IN JESUS CHRIST...:) OUR SAVIOR WHO HAS COME TO FREE US FROM THE BONDAGE TO THIS WORLD FILLED WITH SIN.

Believe and Obey God...Faith/Belief without works is dead. :(
