Is the Rapture at the Beginning of the Tribulation?

Is the Rapture at the Beginning of the Tribulation? "REALLY?"

The Bible tells us the rapture comes with the sound of a trumpet:
  • "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.  (1Thes 4: 13-18)"
"With the trump of God"... which trump? Paul tells us in 1Cor 15: 51-52:
  • "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed"
The book of Revelation explains step-by-step the events of the 7 seals and 6 trumps leading up to the rapture/first resurrection of the dead ("at the last trump").

How can anyone know these scriptures and believe anything other than: the rapture/first resurrection of the dead happens at the end tribulation*, not at the beginning.
  • *Jesus said: "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Mat 24:29-30)"

This is an important doctrine that needs to be explained to the Church correctly.
